College Success Initiative

is designed to support 6th-12th grade students in preparation for post-secondary education. We offer FREE monthly sessions that include topics such as financial aid, college essays, scholarships, and financial aid. Youth in grades 6th through 8th build on life skills, such as bullying, leadership, and teamwork. Community service projects are also a core part of this program to remind students that being an active community member has a lasting, positive impact.

Educational Experiences

expose students to opportunities that are available and obtainable through campus visits, summer camps, and events broadening their perspective of higher education.

Emerge

equips youth with character development, leadership skills, and tools for academic achievement through mentorship. First and second year college students are paired up with mentors to provide coaching and guidance through the transition to the college life and to assist students with successfully obtaining a post-secondary certification. The program offers college related resources to assist with eliminating barriers that can stand in the way of academic success.
